Singer Tom Parker is dead. The singer of the boy band The Wanted died at the age of 33 as a result of a brain tumor.
The singer Tom Parker of the British-Irish band The Wanted was only 33 years on earth. Like Parker’s wife, Kelsey Hardwick communicated via Instagram, Parker passed away on Wednesday (March 30) after years of battling cancer. In October 2020, Parker announced that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor.
Captioning a picture of her late husband, Hardwick wrote: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must confirm that Tom passed away peacefully earlier that day, surrounded by his family. Our hearts are broken, Tom was the center of our world and we can unite Can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.”
“Forever Proud of You”
According to the grieving Hardwick, he fought cancer until the end. She closes her post with the words: “I will always be proud of you.”
The boy band The Wanted was formed in 2009 as part of a large-scale audition. The debut album “The Wanted” was released in 2010, followed by two more long-players in 2011 and 2013. The five-piece band split up in 2014, before the members performed together again last year for the first time in seven years to express their support for the seriously ill Tom Parker.
