Tomorrow belongs to us and Here it all starts deprived of Salto: how to continue to see your favorite soap operas in advance?

For the past few days, “Tomorrow belongs to us” and “Here it all begins” have no longer been offered two days ahead of Salto. But fortunately, there is another alternative for disappointed fans of the two TF1 soap operas. We tell you everything.

A hard blow for fans of Tomorrow belongs to us and Here it all begins: the two daily soap operas of TF1 are no longer broadcast in preview on Salto.

Since last Wednesday, the date on which it should have put the episodes of Friday February 3 online, Salto has stopped offering episodes of Tomorrow belongs to us and Here everything begins two days in advance, as was the case. since the creation of the platform in the fall of 2020.

Subscribers were thus entitled to the following message: “Unfortunately, we are unable to offer your soap operas in advance this weekend”. Which could suggest that the problem would be solved today. But as of now, that’s still not the case. And the episodes of February 3 are only accessible via the replay of TF1.

Asked via Twitter by a disgruntled Internet user who pointed out that there was no “no longer much interest in keeping the subscription” without the soap operas in advance, Salto replied: “Episodes will be available for replay on our platform a maximum of 24 hours after their broadcast on TF1”. Being careful not to reveal if a return to normal was envisaged.

TF1, M6 and France Télévisions having withdrawn from Salto, the platform is in the process of being dissolved and could very soon disappear, for lack of a serious buyer for all of its activities.

Should we see in the “disappearance” of soap operas in advance the sign that TF1 has already stopped providing content to Salto? It is very likely. And that does not bode well for the future of “French Netflix”, as it was sold in its infancy. Even if Un Si Grand Soleil, the France 2 soap opera, continues to be offered ahead of Salto for the moment (the episodes of February 6 and 7 are available).

Episodes available in advance on Canal VOD

Fortunately, for those who cannot conceive of waiting for the broadcast on the air to discover the rest of the adventures of the inhabitants of Sète and the students of the Auguste Armand Institute, there is a solution.

The Canal VOD platform offers episodes of several series, including Tomorrow belongs to us and Here it all begins, before they are broadcast on TV, whether for rental or purchase, from 0.99 euros per episode .

Unlike Salto, whose cheapest subscription costs 6.99 euros per month, the cost of viewing in advance on Canal VOD is therefore much higher (around twenty euros per month for rental per serial). But, for the most impatient, this solution has the merit of existing.

With a slightly different posting of the episodes since the Monday episode is generally available on the preceding Thursday or Friday, the Tuesday and Wednesday episodes during the weekend, and the Thursday and Friday episodes at the beginning of week. A slightly larger lead than on Salto therefore.

But what about a hope of seeing the episodes of Tomorrow belongs to us and Here it all begins again available in advance via a subscription?

Soon more preview content on MyTF1 Max?

Contacted by us, TF1 let us know that it did not yet know if the two series would soon be offered in preview on MyTF1 Max, its paid replay offer which offers, for 2.99 euros per month, to watch content from the TF1 group in HD quality, without advertising breaks, and with extended catch-up time.

However, everything suggests that this could be the case in the more or less near future since, since the beginning of January, MyTF1 Max has embarked on preview content, putting the entire Lycée Toulouse-Lautrec online and season 5 of Balthazar from the first night of broadcast. And by offering the TMC L’Agence program a week in advance.

With a view to encouraging more people to subscribe to MyTF1 Max, such a process for soap operas would make sense. Because, according to our information, Tomorrow belongs to us and Here everything begins were among the most watched content on Salto. And there is no doubt that many fans would be ready to subscribe to TF1’s paid offer to continue to see their favorite soap operas in advance. Case to follow.
