Before stopping the broadcast of “Tomorrow belongs to us”, Damien will make his marriage proposal to Audrey. And the reaction of the woman of his life, revealed in an extract posted online by TF1, is to say the least unexpected.
Will a major unexpected event complicate the love story of Audrey (Charlotte Gaccio) and Damien (Adrien Rob) in Tomorrow belongs to us?
While the broadcast of the daily soap opera carried by Ingrid Chauvin and Alexandre Brasseur will stop for several weeks from Monday due to the 2022 Football World Cup, the screenwriters have put the dishes in the big ones and have a ” last” very strong episode this Friday, November 18 on TF1.
This episode, in particular centered on a charity evening which will turn into drama, will obviously see the narrative ark devoted to Karim (Samy Gharbi) continue. But it will also be a question of love and the future for the heroes of Tomorrow belongs to us since Damien will decide to ask Audrey in marriage, after almost a year of relationship.
And unfortunately for the young PTS cop, this marriage proposal, teased earlier this week by TF1, is not really going to go as planned.
Audrey refuses Damien’s marriage proposal
In an extract from episode 1320 unveiled in preview by the channel, Audrey and Damien walk around the Christmas market in Sète. The mother of Jordan, Jack, Lizzie and Leo, who seems invaded by the Christmas spirit, is looking forward to spending the holidays with the family with the man she loves: “I am very happy to spend Christmas with you this year. And the children too. I swear, we are so lucky to have you”.
Taking advantage of this moment together, Damien launches out and makes his statement to Audrey: “Audrey, I love you. More than anything. So, I know it’s a bit old school to want to formalize things like this, but there you go. You’re the woman of my life, I know it”.
Under the gaze of passers-by, Damien then kneels on the ground and pulls out the engagement ring he bought for the woman of his life. Before continuing with her request, facing an Audrey who seems extremely surprised and disturbed.

“Would you mind marrying me?”, he ends up asking, while we imagine that his heart is beating at 100 an hour. Surrounded by all these people watching them, and confronted with a proposal that she obviously hadn’t seen coming, Audrey begins to be overwhelmed by stress.
She remains frozen for a few moments, then finally resolves to announce the unthinkable to Damien: “I…I can’t”. Before running away from the Christmas market. Leaving Damien alone with his ring, he too was completely stunned by the unexpected turn his marriage proposal took.
Why did Audrey refuse her companion’s request? Is she afraid of being abandoned once again, as was the case with the fathers of her children? Will she end up changing her mind? Or should we expect a break once the broadcast of the soap opera resumes at the end of December?
