Tomorrow belongs to us (spoilers): Damien pays dearly for his mistake and Timothée refuses a favor

On Friday March 1 in Tomorrow Belongs to Us (7:10 p.m., TF1), Damien is sanctioned in his professional and personal life because of his action and Timothée goes into the field.

In episode 1er March of Tomorrow Belongs to Us, Laure goes to the police station after surprising Damien at his home. Convinced by Karim, she agrees not to file a complaint so as not to cause Damien to lose his job. The latter will still be suspended from investigation, as Karim explains to him a little later when he goes to see him to apologize. The PTS investigator has a hard time seeing Laure lie to them like this, especially since Jordan is paying the consequences. Karim sends him home but when Damien tells Roxane that he has been suspended, the latter explains to him that they may have a lead: the son of one of Laure’s victims will perhaps file a complaint. Damien tells Roxane to continue investigating on her own without saying anything to Karim. Only later, the victim’s son, John Kovac, comes to the police station to actually file a complaint against Laure for abuse of weakness towards his mother.

John Kovac recognizes Roxane, and Karim understands that she and Damien have investigated on their own. Roxane justifies herself and explains that at Laure, Damien found evidence but left them in place for the police to officially find. Karim decides to question Laure again and put pressure on her by pointing out that Alban could have abused the trust of John Kovac’s mother, and that they have proof. Laure insists on her innocence and invites the police to search her home. When Georges and Karim go there, they notice thatshe has already gotten rid of any incriminating evidence. She then justifies the deletion of all her messages with Alban by talking about their argument, which means that the police have nothing to examine although Karim now agrees with Damien: Laure is guilty and is messing with them.

Audrey kicks Damien out

In the evening, Roxane goes to see Audrey and Damien to inform them that the searches at Laura’s house turned up nothing because the latter got rid of all the evidence. Once Roxane leaves, Audrey explodes. She holds Damien responsible for the botched police search and asks him to leave the apartment. Elsewhere in Sète, Timothée takes advantage of his day off to accompany Manon and Nordine on the ground to see how things are going. Manon then spots a poorly parked car and begins to write a report while Timothée notices various infractions: almost illegible license plate, cracked taillight, etc. The owner of the car then arrives to apologize… and it’s about Victor Brunet, the father of Timothy. The latter refuses to allow his father to benefit from preferential treatment and emphasizes that his father is far from being above the law…
