Monday March 21 in Tomorrow belongs to us…

IRENE CONFESSS

Irene didn’t come home all night. As his children do not understand why their mother left, Cédric tells them that the police found Irene’s wedding ring in the glove that was used to strangle Noor. Only, Jahia, Angie and Lilian refuse to believe it. A few steps away, the police place Irène in custody for the attempted homicide of Noor.

At the police station, Irène confesses. Ever since his children learned of their father’s affair, it’s been a war at home. Although she tried to take a step back from the situation, Irène unfortunately couldn’t stand it affecting her children so much. Since she couldn’t convince Cédric to leave Noor, she tried to have a discussion with her, but the young woman stubbornly defended their love affair. Back home, the mother had a hard time calming down. Thinking back to the messages she read on Cedric’s phone, Irene returned to the hospital that same evening, took gloves from a trolley and then strangled Noor. She hoped that by squeezing with all her strength, she might manage to make it disappear and thus save her family. After these terrible revelations, Commander Constant indicts her and Irène will be transferred to a penitentiary.

Meanwhile, Cedric apologizes to Noor for not believing her. Plagued by guilt, the nurse cannot help but think that he could have prevented all this if he had handled the situation differently. While he now fears the reaction of his children when they learn that their mother is going to prison, Noor tries to reassure him and promises that the situation will eventually work out.

Afterwards, Audrey and Jordan go to Noor’s bedside. The latter then takes his courage in both hands and asks her forgiveness. Unfortunately, Noor is not ready to listen to him and sends him packing.

Later, Audrey receives a visit from Damien who confides that he could have helped her if she had told him that Jordan was responsible for the accident. Only, Audrey is not really used to being helped and is more the type to manage her problems alone. Her children being her priority, the mother of the family says she is ready to do anything to protect them. If he would have done everything to prevent her from denouncing himself in place of his son, Damien assures us however that he would never have betrayed her. He would therefore like Audrey to trust him and to make room for him in her life. After accepting, she kisses him tenderly.

Not far from there, Noor is preparing his things to leave the hospital. The situation may be complicated, Noor confides to his sister that she is in love with Cédric and that she has no intention of leaving him. While Soraya talks about the obstacles that await her with Cédric’s children, Noor urges her to trust him and let her live her story.

At nightfall, Cédric announces to his children that their mother will be sleeping in prison. This new ordeal will require them to be strong, but he is convinced that they will eventually bounce back. Aware that they hate him, Cédric assures us that he will still be there for them despite everything. After Lilian tells her father that they don’t hate him, Cedric hugs his daughters.

A MYSTERIOUS STRANGER REVIVES CHARLIE, GABRIEL AND BART’S PAST

Charlie smiled again. And for good reason, she has reconciled with François. Happy, she confides in Nathan that their teacher still has feelings for her and that he even admitted to being in love with her.

Before entering the school premises, Charlie is approached by a certain Léa Courcelles. Journalist for “Les infos du Midi”, the young woman questions her about the fire that took place in Agnès Varda in October 2019 while the establishment was under construction. Uncomfortable, Charlie replies that she was a student at Lycée Paul Valéry at that time.

Léa then goes to the Spoon to question Louise. This time, she claims to be reporting on the restaurants of Sète to interview her with her companion. Louise therefore promises to talk to Bart about it and to set up a meeting soon. Leaving the establishment, Léa upsets Bart. Embarrassed, she looks at him strangely before leaving the premises hastily.

Meanwhile, Charlie informs Gabriel that a journalist has come to question him about the Agnès Varda fire. In order to prepare for the possibility that this story comes to the surface, Charlie takes it upon himself to warn his old school friends.

Not far from there, Léa has gathered press clippings talking about Agnès Varda’s fire, then carefully looks at photos of Bart, Charlie and Gabriel as well as a man. She then places the pictures on her bed where a gun is placed.

At the end of the day, Charlie arrives at the Spoon and announces to Bart that a journalist is investigating the fire at Agnes Varda. Understanding that it is the woman who came to see him earlier in the day, the Vallorta son launches that if she learns the truth, they are dead.

ÉTIENNE TAKES UP A MAJOR CHALLENGE

Mona received her first subject for the Grand Oral: does the concept of war still make sense to understand current geopolitics? Not understanding anything, Gorges’ mother asks for Victoire’s help. Unfortunately, she replies that she is not a teacher and urges her to contact Étienne.

Mona finds Étienne on his sailboat. Without waiting, he tests her on her knowledge but she complains about the movement of the boat. Certain that she needs to be alone to collect her thoughts, the father of the family gives her ten minutes to list the great wars of the 20th century.

However, Mona didn’t do much. Étienne therefore thinks that she has problems concentrating and would like to find the necessary arrangements to help her. Only, Mona pretends to be seasick and returns home. Far from being fooled, Étienne understood very well that she was lazy and did not want to work. He arrives later at her house to make her understand that if she wants to pass her baccalaureate, she will have to do her best. So he gives her a set of materials to read for their next class.

On returning, Étienne reports to his family that it amuses him to take charge of Mona and that he will succeed in getting her to pass her baccalaureate with honors.
