MARTIN GUILT

After being hit by a bullet in the shoulder, Jules was taken to Saint-Clair Hospital. Safe and sound, he takes advantage of Doctor Daunier taking care of his dressing to tell him that he would never have hurt his daughter. Despite William’s many reproaches, Jules apologizes to him and explains that he did all this to help his mother. As Virginie is awaiting the results of her PET Scan today, Jules would like William to find out from the Lyon University Hospital. Without speaking to her, William leaves the room.

Meanwhile, Martin feels guilty for having shot Jules and confides in Karim. The latter then reminds him that his weapon was loaded and then assures that he made the right decision. Only, Martin blames himself for not having managed to see that the young man was not well. Jules is only 20 years old and will now spend the next few years of his life in prison. A hard blow for the policeman.

For their part, Nordine and Manon have breakfast in bed. The opportunity for the young woman to tell the man she loves how heroic he was. However, Manon cannot help but feel sorry for Jules. Words that do not really please Nordine who underlines how much he hurt them.

Later, William goes to Jules’ bedside to tell him some good news. Indeed, he called the CHU of Lyon and the PET Scan of Virginie is good. So the chemo and the intervention paid off. In other words, there are no more cancer cells. Happy, Jules bursts into tears, which affects Doctor Daunier.

In the aftermath, Jules receives a visit from Martin who affirms that he had no choice. If he hadn’t fired, he would have been dead or charged with murder. Only, Jules believes that he rather wanted to save his real son. After certifying the contrary, Martin tries to make him understand that if he had been honest with him from the start, they would have found solutions together. Angry, Jules refuses to listen to him then says he never wants to see him again before asking him to leave.

Subsequently, Martin meets Raphaëlle at her office. Indeed, the policeman would like to find a lawyer for Jules at his expense. Raphaëlle, who considers his gesture very beautiful, promises to put him in touch with a colleague who excels in this field.

Not far from there, Charlie goes to see Jules and lectures him for having wasted his life. However, Jules doesn’t care. With a smile on his face, he confides to his friend that his mother is much better. When she tries to find out what will happen to him, Jules replies that he will be referred. However, he hopes he will be lucky and that the judge will take his mother’s condition into account. A hard blow for Charlie who struggles to hold back his tears.

At the end of the day, the Dauniers organize a small party to celebrate the return of Manon. Although he does not have the heart to celebrate, Martin assures his son that he did not hesitate for a second to save his life. Nordine then thanks his father for having done this, especially since he knows what this choice means to him. Just after, Martin receives a message from Raphaëlle indicating that he has found a lawyer for Jules. But above all, she invites him to have a drink when he is better. And as much to say that the policeman immediately finds the smile.

VICTOIRE TAKES OFF THE GREAT GAME FOR HER MEETING

For her first date with Aaron, Victoire pulled out all the stops: hair removal, manicure and new lingerie.

Thereafter, she joins Georges at the Spoon for lunch. The opportunity for Dr. Lazzari to discuss his meeting with Aaron. For his part, Georges says that he registered on a dating site. And apparently he seems to have had a few one-night stands. While Victoire retorts that he can continue to have fun while waiting for his soul mate, Georges’ gaze seems elsewhere…

At the end of the day, Victoire goes to Aaron’s with a ten-minute lead. After explaining to her that living in a mobile home was synonymous with freedom for him, he offers her a cocktail. As they get to know Aaron doesn’t waste a minute to kiss her but they are very awkward. Between Aaron’s watch which clings to Victoire’s hair and the latter who butts him without doing it on purpose, it is definitely not won. The chemistry not really being there, they end the evening playing Scrabble.

LISA’S BEHAVIOR IS A QUESTION

At the police station, Sara tells Georges that she met Lisa right in the neighborhood area where residents heard a gunshot. And Sara is not the only one to have noticed the strange behavior of her colleague. Indeed, Georges explains that Amel went to the police station without knowing that her sister was on leave. If he didn’t pay attention at the time, George admits that it’s odd that she didn’t tell him. Sara then wonders if Lisa is not hiding something from them.

Meanwhile, Benoît still refuses to eat and drink. Knowing that he won’t last more than three days at this rate, Benoît tells the policewoman that his death will be on her conscience. Only, Lisa knows full well that he is too cowardly to let himself die.

At nightfall, Adam is taking pictures in an abandoned garden when he receives a call from Amel. While the two teenagers are talking, Benoît hears a voice through the door and calls for help before collapsing on the ground. Adam, who heard a noise, approaches the house…
