DIEGO LEARNS MORE ABOUT HIS PAST
At the police station, the police investigated Diego’s past. According to their information, the teenager grew up well in Sète. Passionate about athletics, he is currently in sports studies in Nancy where his headmaster and his classmates describe him as a kid without stories. Regarding his parents, investigators found that his mother died of cancer and his father is in a coma following a suicide attempt three weeks earlier. The latter being hospitalized at the Sète clinic, Captain Saeed thinks that the teenager has returned to town to be with him.
Warned by Karim, Chloe announces the terrible news to Diego. Although he feels a certain form of sadness, all this unfortunately remains abstract for him since he still does not remember his parents. As he does not have the strength to see his father at the moment, Chloe and Alex advise him to go to his home in the hope of unlocking some memories.
During this time, the scientific police were dispatched to the home of Bernard Lutti, Diego’s father. With all the broken things strewn on the floor, everything suggests that a fight took place in the living room. As teenage clothes were found near the bed, Damien believes that Diego was at his father’s house before his accident. Karim and Sara therefore deduce that Diego was attacked here and that he managed to escape.
Not far from there, Chloé has lunch with her mother at the Spoon. At worst, Marianne explains to her daughter that she hasn’t heard from Renaud since he left the house. Although she was playing with fire, Marianne claims that she did nothing wrong and assures that this kiss meant nothing. Chloé then advises him to clarify things with Sébastien.
For her part, Raphaëlle tells her father that the amnesic young man is none other than the son of his accountant. As they return to their car, Renaud comes up to them and hits Sébastien.
At the same time, Chloé and Alex accompany Diego to his father’s. However, nothing triggers any memories. Having no one else to remind him of who he was, Diego finally agrees to go see his father in the hospital.
At nightfall, Marianne meets Sébastien at his office. Seeing her coquard, she understands that her husband is responsible for it. After indicating that everything was fine, Sébastien clarifies that it was worth it. The situation having become untenable, Marianne makes a difficult decision and decides to cut off all contact with him. Even if she is very disturbed by the prosecutor, Marianne loves her husband and has no desire to lose him.
At the same time, Judith returns home and comes face to face with a masked individual…
SORAYA IS DISAPPOINTED
Stéphane invited Soraya to see a great concert of classical music. Certain it’s a classy evening, the lawyer went shopping and had fittings at the firm during her lunch break. Raphaëlle, who sees her do it, then points out that a symphony orchestra has nothing to do with opera. In other words, it’s long and rather static.
A few hours later, Soraya is dressed when Stéphane tells her that he has to cancel their evening because he has a professional imperative. A disappointment for the young woman.
JULIE MAKES A MISTAKE
Julie is doing her observation internship in the gynecological department of Saint-Clair hospital under the supervision of Soizic. Insofar as she will have to entrust him with some responsibilities, Doctor Vernet expects her to be professional and diligent.
In the aftermath, a pregnant woman knocks on the door of Soizic’s office because she needs a prescription to stop her false contractions. After examining her, Soizic informs her that labor has begun and that she will give birth in the evening. The doctor therefore instructs Julie to put the patient under monitoring and above all not to take her eyes off her.
However, Madame Mouchet lives in Avignon and would like to return home to give birth to her husband. An impossible request given his condition. Not having any contractions for a while, she still insists on being transferred to an ambulance. She may be certain that Dr. Vernet will want to keep her under observation, Julie lets herself be touched and leaves to find out. In his absence, Madame Mouchet takes the opportunity to leave her room.
Moments later, she was found unconscious in the hospital parking lot. Immediately, Julie offers her help but Soizic firmly refuses, believing that she has already done enough for today.
