Thursday February 22 in Tomorrow Belongs to Us…

Gilles is exonerated

At the police station, after analysis, Damien confirms to Karim that the traces of blood found the day before in the trunk of Jonot’s car are indeed those of Pascal. For the police, there is no longer any doubt about the identity of the murderer. All that remains is to lock it up. A team is sent to Jonot’s house, while his credit card is put under surveillance.

Karim calls Chloé to keep her informed. She transmits the information to Gilles. Marianne comes into her room at the same time. Everyone is relieved that he is exonerated.

A little later, Jonot’s credit card is activated during a payment for a horse racing bet. This allows the police to locate him in a bar. Karim and Nordine immediately go there. If Jonot tries to escape again, he will not escape them.

Back at the police station, Karim questions Jonot. The latter says that Pascal owed him a lot of money, but that he never paid it back. He wanted to put pressure on him when an argument arose between Gilles and Pascal. Once Gilles left, Jonot intervened. He hit Pascal with an iron bar, then moved his body to a construction site closed to the public. Finally, he got his car back and moved it too to cover his tracks.

At the hospital, Marianne tells Gilles that he can go out and that she has organized a big dinner with family and friends to celebrate all the good news. In the evening, Gilles and Cécile find Bruno, Sylvain, Christelle, Alex, Chloé, Marianne, Renaud and Diego. Everyone toasts the newlyweds.

While Marianne takes care of the barbecue, Chloé discusses with Cécile the end of her internship at the hospital which confirmed her desire for a career change. As for Cécile, she talks about her honeymoon plans with Gilles: first a little rest in the hinterland, then a stay in Venice. Marianne then makes a speech to welcome Cécile to their family.

Will Georges and Mélody separate?

Ignored by Mélody since she learned from Audrey that Vanessa was pregnant with him, Georges goes to the stadium to have a discussion with her. He assures her that he intended to tell her the truth, but he was afraid of her reaction and didn’t find the right moment. Mélody doesn’t care if he becomes a father. On the other hand, she cannot imagine a healthy relationship without honesty. As she no longer trusts him and considers their relationship too complicated, Mélody decides to put an end to it. Once George leaves, Mélody lets her tears flow. She is comforted by Jack and Rayane who pass by.

At the Spoon, Mélody relieves Audrey of her guilt and declares that she is ready to turn the page on her story with Georges. She is looking for someone sincere, without fuss. While Mona wants to join their discussion, Mélody rushes off claiming to have a meeting. However, Mona is informed of the situation by Audrey. She then goes to the police station to encourage her son to make up for it with Mélody.

Georges therefore meets Mélody on the beach to tell her that he has no intention of taking care of Vanessa’s baby. If Mélody still thinks that they should separate, Georges catches up with her and kisses her passionately. She kisses him back.

Roxane is superstitious

Sara and Roxane are going to celebrate Enora’s 1st birthday at Sara’s mother’s house on Saturday. However, Sara also wants to organize a birthday party before their departure, the next evening. Although Roxane isn’t very keen, Sara plans to call Bart to privatize the Spoon.

Roxane gets ahead of her to beg Bart not to respond to Sara’s request. Indeed, she believes that celebrating someone’s birthday in advance brings bad luck, which Mona confirms. Even though Bart doesn’t believe it, he doesn’t pick up when Sara calls him. At the police station, Roxane also asks her colleagues to decline Sara’s invitation.

At the end of the day, Sara goes to the Spoon to see Bart, but he is absent. Mona immediately anticipates Sara’s question, explaining that she won’t be there for Enora’s birthday due to her superstitions.

When she returns home, Sara confronts Roxane about this. She forces her partner to overcome her neuroses and fears by celebrating their daughter’s birthday in advance.
