Love could well be stronger than anything in Tomorrow Belongs to Us.
However, life has not spared Gilles (Laurent Gamelon) and Cécile (Dorothée Pousséo) in recent times.
Having recently arrived in Sète, they hoped to celebrate their engagement with family but above all to organize their future wedding. Unfortunately, fate decided otherwise after the kidnapping of the florist.
A complicated period for Gilles who saw his partner suspected of having staged everything to defraud him.
Madly in love, Gilles nevertheless did not hesitate to put his life in danger to save the woman he loves. If Cécile was found safe and sound, trust was unfortunately broken for Marianne (Luce Mouchel) who would now like to prevent her brother from a catastrophic union.
But sure of his choice, Gilles intends to marry Cécile whatever the cost. As they encounter one problem after another, will Gilles and Cécile succeed in getting married? The answer is yes !

In a new extract available on the TF1+ platformGilles and Cécile said yes surrounded by their family and friends, and they left the town hall to applause.
“We would have loved to organize a big party but as you know, we were a little busy, but hey we will make up for it very quickly“, says Gilles to the assembly. Cécile continues: “We are very happy that you are all here today. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart“.
Sylvain (Arnaud Henriet) rushes to hug his friend to congratulate him. After thanking him warmly, Gilles apologizes to him once again for having attacked him a few days earlier. Immediately, Christelle (Ariane Séguillon) assures him that it is forgotten.
Shortly after, Marianne speaks to congratulate the newlyweds but above all to welcome Cécile to the family. Afterwards, the guests surround the bride and groom to immortalize this moment of joy.
Now united to each other, will Gilles and Cécile have peace? Nothing is less sure…
If we are to believe the official synopses revealed by the channel, Gilles’ behavior could indeed raise questions for the police during the next episodes of the TF1 daily soap opera.
