Tonight on TV: she’s over 45, but this comedy has lost none of its effectiveness

Every day, AlloCiné recommends a film to (re)watch on TV. Tonight: quite simply one of the most cult comedies of French cinema.

We have seen it (very) many times and yet, we always return with the same pleasure! What comedy are we talking about here? DesBronzés are skiing, of course! Released in 1979, a year after Les Bronzés, this new film in the company of the Splendid troupe is still just as funny and, when it comes on TV, we don’t argue: we sit comfortably on our sofa and enjoy !

Les Bronzés go skiing, unpublished images of which surfaced last year, so it’s the reunion of the irrepressible joyful group of friends who, after Club Méditerranée, find themselves in winter sports. Popeye, Gigi, Bernard, Nathalie, Christiane, Jérôme and Jean-Claude will experience other sentimental problems and misadventures of all kinds…

What can we say about Les Bronzés skiing, except that this monument of French laughter happily passes the years without showing the slightest wrinkle. It’s hilarious, full of cult scenes (ahhhh, the toad liquor…) and lines that have entered the collective imagination… In short, a timeless comedy, a big shot of good humor which is really good good morale!

It should be noted that unlike the script of Les Bronzés, that of Les Bronzés fait du ski is not the adaptation of a play but an original work written for the cinema. Only Christian Clavier, Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte and director Patrice Leconte participated in the writing of the film, trying to move towards a more scathing humor than the first.

Less important than the success of the Bronzés, that of the Bronzés skiing is not negligible. The film was seen upon its release by more than 1.3 million spectators compared to nearly 2.2 for its predecessor. When will you see this wonderful country again? And why not this evening?

Tonight on TF1 at 9:10 p.m.
