Tonight on TV: Vin Diesel as a superhuman? It’s in this B series where the Fast & Furious star doesn’t crack a smile

Every day, AlloCiné recommends a film to (re)watch on TV. Tonight: Vin Diesel in the muscular adaptation of a comic book.

Vin Diesel outside the Fast and Furious saga is now very rare, so we’re taking advantage of the broadcast of Bloodshot this evening on TFX! A science fiction film released in 2020 in which the bodybuilder star plays Ray Garrison, a soldier killed on a mission and brought back to life by RST Corporations, the company that transformed him into a super-human.

Nanotechnology now flows through Ray’s veins, making him invincible. He is stronger than ever and able to heal from his injuries instantly. But RST Corporation doesn’t just control his body… They also have control over his mind and his memories. Ray can’t tell what’s real from what’s not – but now his mission is to find out.

The feature film Bloodshot is the big screen adaptation of the comics of the same name published by Valiant Comics. The character was created by Kevin VanHook, Don Perlin and Bob Layton to appear for the first time in late 1992 in the last page of volume four of Eternal Warrior, another Valiant superhero. A week later, Bloodshot was entitled to his own comic book.

The worst in cinema 2024: Expendables 4, Shazam 2, Stallone and Vin Diesel nominated for the Razzie Awards!

On the menu for Bloodshot, a B series over which hovers the shadow of RoboCop, Terminator and Total Recall: lots of action, special effects and fights! A very muscular entertainment, therefore, in which you can always have fun looking for a smile on Vin Diesel’s face… You will see, he does not sketch a single one!

A bit of Game of Thrones!

Alongside Vin Diesel in the role of a formidable killing machine, we find in particular Eiza Gonzalez, Guy Pearce and the Icelandic actor Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, seen in the credits of the series Game of Thrones and Vikings: Valhalla. Ready for a lively evening in their company?

Tonight on TFX at 9:05 p.m.

Vin Diesel was recently featured in “Fast X”:
