Too many snipers in chests on Fortnite?

Having a sniper is good. Having three on you is immediately less useful. And that’s what more and more players are complaining about Epic Games, which has not changed the drop rate of these weapons, which abound in all imaginable chests.

While playing on the new island in Fortnite Chapter 3, you may have had the unpleasant feeling of leaving behind many sniper rifles after searching a town. Bizarre… This weapon, in principle extremely rare, was once the delight of players who managed to get their hands on it. This no longer seems to be the case this season, since the new snipers, whose entry-level variants are available green, literally swarm in the coffers of the parties. The catch is that picking up a sniper on landing is never helpful. Results : players are being punished at spawn for being unlucky enough to only pick up sniper rifles from chests.

Few things annoy Fortnite players (pros or not) more than over-reliance on early-game RNG. The excess sniper rifles contribute to the discontent on the metagame, but Epic Games feels – rightly – more concerned by the omnipotence of MPs and certain ARs.

The irony is that sniper rifles were the subject of a great deal of thought at Epic, between Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. There was a time when snipers were criticized for being too punitive, especially at the pros, where a lucky headshot meant a solo lobby return, which is very frustrating.

The flat has therefore been corrected since the “current” sniper rifles cannot inflict 200 points of damage, even in variant Legendary. Lack of luck for the publisher of Fortnite, we will have to rethink AGAIN this category of weapons, which no longer satisfies the community at all.

As the dataminings hinted, Piltover bump is joining Fortnite. The release date for Vi’s skin has finally been revealed, and the cosmetic is coming sooner than theories had predicted.
