Although Tom Cruise has just signed a deal with Warner Bros. for new projects, he still has a big project with Paramount ahead of him: “Top Gun 3” is already said to be in the works!

The US magazine Deadline reports that “Top Gun: Maverick” co-author Ehren Kruger is already working on a script. In addition to Cruise, the project will also feature Miles Teller and Glen Powell, who also starred in “Maverick.” Producers Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison are also back on board. Joe Kosinski will either produce or direct the film.
Tom Cruise is currently filming Mission: Impossible 8. There is also a NASA space film coming up with Universal with director Doug Liman. “Top Gun 3” will be filmed directly after “Mission: Impossible 8”.
The news about “Top Gun 3” doesn’t exactly come as a surprise, as “Top Gun: Maverick” became the most successful film in Tom Cruise’s film history, grossing $1.49 billion. “Maverick” also won the Oscar for Best Sound and six other nominations, including Best Film.
