Five years after the release of its Thermomix TM5, Vorwerk presents the new generation of its robot cooker. The soberly named Thermomix TM6 does not mark a real technological break with its predecessor, but is enriched with a few developments.

From start to finish, and unsurprisingly, the Thermomix TM6 manages to deliver an exceptional user experience. All the ingredients are there to celebrate the TM6 as THE safe bet on the market. The changes made make sense: the integration of Cookidoo gives access to an unlimited number of recipes, the enlargement of the touch screen improves handling, the integrated scale precise to the nearest gram is undisputedly reliable and the appearance of automatic programs is really welcome. The mixing efficiency is always impeccable and the cooking performance is also very good. Despite a very competitive market, heckled by many outsiders who offer high-performance robots that are much less expensive than the Thermomix, Vorwerk once again proves all its know-how.

With the Cookit, Bosch has already made a first victim: the Magimix Cook Expert, since it loses a place in our ranking of the best multifunction cooking robots. Its excellent performance, both in terms of mixing and heating, got the better of this formidable competitor. Nevertheless, if the Cookit wants to hang the star of the market on its hunting board, the Thermomix TM6, it will have to adjust a few details such as the slight delay in the display of the scale, the weight of the bowl, or even the absence search bar in the recipe catalog.
