PARIS, July 6 (Reuters) – TotalEnergies announced on Wednesday that it was withdrawing from the Kharyaga oil project in Russia, selling the 20% it held to the company Zarubezhneft.
This transaction must be approved by the Russian authorities, said the French energy group.
TotalEnergies still has its shares in the major Russian projects Terneftegaz, Artic LNG, Yamal LNG and Novatek. (Written by Laetitia Volga, edited by Bertrand Boucey)
