New week and new predictions for TOTW 18 Team of the Week EA FC 24. As usual, EA will offer new IF cards following the results of the best professional players from last week. As a reminder, the five major women’s leagues are taken into account in the TOTW while the cards are now all 80 or more in overall rating. The developments are also more marked than in FIFA 23, making it possible to give more interest to these cards.
We therefore present to you our predictions for the new cards which will be available in the packs from Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Team Goalkeeper of the week 18
Kevin Trapp, Frankfurt, Bundesliga
Since leaving PSG, Kevin Trapp has been one of the most prominent goalkeepers in Europe. EA did not miss the good seasons of the German goalkeeper, with many special cards and in particular 6 TOTW over the previous two seasons. It is therefore no surprise that we list Trapp here following his very good performance against RB Leipzig. With numerous decisive saves, the German goalkeeper allowed his club to come away with 3 points, a very important victory with a view to a place in the LDC next year for Frankfurt.
Defender Predictions
Amir Rrahmani, Napoli, Serie A
What a difficult season for Napoli who, after dominating Serie A last year, are struggling to keep up with the top 5 now. This is why this close victory against the slow red Salternitana was important for the reigning champion. The three points were obtained on a last minute goal from Amir Rrhamani. The defender should therefore be rewarded by EA which loves this kind of scenario.
Christopher Operi, Le Havre, Ligue 1
Not selected by the Ivory Coast for the CAN, Operi nevertheless distinguished himself during Le Havre’s big victory against Lyon. Quickly trailing by the score and at 10, the Lyonnais were unable to do anything, suffering a 3-1 defeat. Operi combined a decisive pass and a goal coming from the wing, which should allow him to obtain the first card special of his career on FUT.
The Fields
Hakan Calhanoglu, Inter Milan, Serie A
After his teammate Martinez, it is Calhanoglu’s turn to be selected by EA in this TOTW 18. The midfielder was once again exceptional with two goals but also an assist in the very large victory of the Inter 5 to 1 against Monza. The Italian league leaders continue to dominate and it would not be surprising to continue to see players from the club feature in the Team of the Week. If his first TOTW was a decent base for the Reinforcement TOTW evolution, a second could offer enough stats to become a solid MC on the rise.
Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich, Bundesliga
With two special cards already this year, Jamal Musiala is a very popular player on FUT. However, the latter has only obtained one TOTW for the moment (last year) despite a TOTS at the end of the season. This should change following Bayern’s clear 3-0 victory in which the young superstar scored two goals. If the latter are not extraordinary, the overall performance of the young German is noteworthy. Note, however, that it is possible that Musiala will be selected for a TOTY Honorable Mention, which could push EA to choose Sané for TOTW 18.
Which Attackers in TOTW 18?
Olivier Giroud, AC Milan, Serie A
After a TOTW at the goalkeeper position, Giroud should land a second IF but this time in his normal position. The French international continues to shake the nets in Serie A. Author of a goal and an assist, the AC Milan striker sits in second place in the ranking of top scorers in the Italian championship while having 6 assists. We therefore hope that this great season will continue so that he can get a well-deserved TOTS in May.
Edin Dzeko, Fenerbahce, Super Lig
After a first TOTW in November, Dzeko should obtain a second IF this season on FUT. The former Inter player, a regular at special cards, shines once again with his new club. This time, it was a hat-trick that the veteran scored, in Fenerbahçe’s big 7-1 victory against Konyaspor. Far from being Meta, even in its RTTK version, Dzeko will have to wait for a lot of special cards or a big evolution to become playable on EA FC 24.
Cards that could appear in TOTW 18
Here we list players who have a chance of appearing there but who, for various reasons, should miss EA’s selection. The point of listing these cards is to protect yourself from an investment point of view (see below) and thus potentially take some risks on less expected players.

How to get TOTW cards on EA FC 24?
TOTW cards are often interesting at high level but also for DCEs as well as for achieving specific objectives in friendly match mode. Therefore, even on players whose overall rating would be quite low, it is necessary to know how to obtain these TOTW cards on EA Sports FC 24.
The first source is obviously the transfer market, where you can find a player’s TOTW cards in special versions of their cards. Be careful though because IF cards sell for much more than the basic version. This is explained in particular by their rarity but also by the fact that the base price (in discards) is already quite high.
A second source remains Gold packs of the game, who have these special cards for a week (from Wednesday to the following Wednesday at 7 p.m.). Be careful because once this week has passed, it will be impossible to drop them in packs.
Finally, specific TOTW Packs will be present during the season in DCEalthough the latter are often unprofitable because they are completely random.
Investments linked to TOTW predictions on EA Sports FC 24
If the cards of the players selected in the Team of the Week are often good sources of investment, it is also possible to earn credits via the TOTW. Indeed, there are several methods for speculating on the market.
Thus, the simplest and most regular consists of bet on the normal Gold cards of current TOTW players. These are not present in the packs during the week, limiting the quantity of cards. If a player is looking to use these cards for DCEs or for their team, prices can rise sharply. So buy the cards in anticipation of this rise, speculating on TOTW’s predictions. This technique is called OOP (Out of Packs, understand outside of Packs) and also works for special cards in events. The more specific the card (major league, nation and rare position), the greater its potential. For example, a player like Jonathan Claus is very interesting because he is French, from Ligue 1 and in a relatively rare DD position on a Gold card. Therefore, his price in Gold version could easily triple in OOP.
Furthermore, another method is to analyze future good TOTW cards and thus speculate on cards related to them. For example, if Haaland receives a Team of the Week card, it’s likely that players will look to include him in their FUT roster. Thus, they will also seek to link this new card with other Premier League players, Man City players or even Norwegian players in order to create the best possible links. It is therefore possible to invest in cards allowing perfect links, just before the release of the new Team of the Week. This technique could become much more interesting given EA’s desire to make TOTW more Meta throughout the season.
Note that these two strategies require anticipating the market but also finding the right timing. Often, the cards to buy rise quickly, so you need to plan in advance who to buy. In addition, this period of increase will not last long, so it is necessary to play for a few days and quickly sell your cards.
