A man in his thirties shot and killed his partner on the night of Tuesday May 3 to Wednesday May 4, in Gratentour, a village north of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), we learned from concurring sources.
The victim, also in her thirties, was hit by two shotgun blasts.
The man himself called the gendarmes to tell them that he had just shot his partner.
According to the first elements of the investigation, an argument would have broken out in the middle of the night, reports La Dépêche. The victim’s companion would then have taken a gun before opening fire.
He was taken into custody for aggravated homicide and his weapon was seized for a ballistics expertise.
