Tours: investigation opened after the death of a man killed by stabbing


After the death of a man on the night of Friday to Saturday, December 25, an investigation for intentional homicide was opened, announced the prosecutor of Tours (Indre-et-Loire).

The victim, aged 22 or 23, had been “transported by a person to the hospital with a priori stab wounds”, said the public prosecutor of Tours, Grégoire Dublin.

An ongoing investigation

The mayor of the small town of La Riche, located just next to Tours, said the victim was a young man who belonged to “a family respected by everyone in La Riche”.
