Toy Story 4 on M6: Obi-Wan Kenobi is hiding in the film!

Broadcast this evening on M6, the fourth opus of the famous animated saga “Toy Story” hides a little nod to the legendary Jedi Knight. Here’s where to look for it…

Broadcast tonight on M6, the fourth part of the Toy Story saga is a veritable mine of hidden details. Even more than in previous feature films, references to other Pixar productions or cinema classics are almost omnipresent, especially during the scenes that take place in the antique shop.

This vast dusty store filled to the brim with old objects – in which Woody ventures to look for Fourchette – is a real Ali Baba’s cave for easter egg fans! Whether you are looking for a plate in the colors of Rebelle, Carl Fredricksen’s cane (Là-haut), Lillipuce’s carriage (1001 Pattes) or even a diving mask from Finding Nemo, you will undoubtedly find what you are looking for. !

One of the sectors of the store, which we have the opportunity to visit in the middle of the film, is particularly rich in winks. It’s an old Hawaiian-style pinball machine, called Tiki Party, and inside it’s a secret gathering of old toys.

It is here that you will be able to see – provided you open your eyes well – a small cameo of Obi-Wan Kenobi, or rather a figurine in his effigy. Indeed, the venerable Jedi knight (currently starring in his own series on Disney+) is hiding among the many inhabitants of this happy pinball machine.

On the right of your screen, just next to a stuffed zebra with both legs amputated, he appears next to a toy representing Ponda Baba and whose arm he cuts off with his lightsaber, thus reproducing the famous scene in the cantina in episode IV of the saga.

Still in the bowels of the pinball machine, we can also note the presence of Tin Toy, the little one-man band hero of one of the first Pixar short films, and the historian eagle Franklin, who we saw in the cartoon Petite Fried.
