(CercleFinance.com) – Toyota Motor Europe (TME) sales volume was 573,976 units in the first half, representing a 2% year-on-year increase and a market share of 6.6% .
More than 71% of vehicles sold by TME in Europe were electrified. This figure reaches 77% in Western Europe. TME’s total electrified vehicle sales increased 6% year-on-year to 409,506 vehicles sold.
The Toyota brand retained second place in passenger car sales in the European market, and Lexus sales grew 43% year-on-year.
