This Monday, May 23, Jonathan Cohen was invited to the Touche set not at my post for the launch of his highly anticipated series, Le Flambeau. During the show, Leïla Bekhti intervened by videoconference to pass a little message, but the segment did not go as planned.
It’s been several days that fans of La Flamme have only been talking about this. Less than two years after the broadcast of Jonathan Cohen’s cult series on Canal +, the encrypted channel is doing it again with the actor’s new baby: Le Flambeau, whose first three episodes were broadcast this Monday, May 23. This time, the parody of The Bachelor gave way to the caricature of the adventure game, worn by former characters from La Flamme (including Leïla Bekhti, Adèle Exarchopoulos or Pierre Niney), but also by new recruits (Gérard Darmon, Jonathan Lambert or Jérome Commandeur). To promote this new series, Jonathan Cohen was received by the TPMP team on Monday. During the interview, he was briefly joined by Leïla Bekhti by videoconference, but a small technical problem hampered the exchange. The actress, whom duty called to the Cannes Film Festival, tried to pass a little message from her hotel room, but a sound problem made her words almost inaudible. “The sound is not phew“, first launched Jonathan Cohen. And Cyril Hanouna to add: “We’re not going to lie to each other, it’s not the best sound we’ve had in the last 15 years of TV!”
Cyril Hanouna: “It’s a new interview concept”
Faced with this mess, Jonathan Cohen finally declared, ironically: “Well in any case it was a pleasure to talk to you Leïla!“, causing the set to laugh wildly. “We imagine what you might think, what you might say, and it’s a new interview concept that I really like”quipped in turn Cyril Hanouna before adding: “It looks like a sequence: so right away, we’re going to play ‘One word out of four’! It’s up to you, at home, to find out what our guest wants to tell us!“If Leïla Bekhti could hardly place one, there is no doubt that she laughed a lot during this sequence.
