TPMP: furious, a columnist leaves the set after an electric debate on vaccination

In Touche pas à mon poste this Friday, February 3, Myriam Palomba lost her nerve. After a heated debate about vaccination, she wanted to leave the set.

The debate turned to the pass of arms. This Friday, February 3, Cyril Hanouna received in particular Thierry Moreau and Myriam Palomba in Touche pas à mon poste to discuss the threats of which the journalist was the victim. “Sitting seated quietly, with the family, on the terrace of a Parisian café. A man approaches me and says to me: ‘You are a collaborator. The collaborator of a dictatorial regime. You have to be quiet. You have to stop talking. When the day comes, we will find you. And you will pay!'”, he wrote on his Twitter account, before the journalist, a fervent anti-vax, answered him: “Stop playing the victim like an LREM deputy. Violence begets violence and it was you who started it”. On the Touche set not at my post, their debate went very, very, very far. And has reached limits.

In TPMP, Thierry Moreau said he was not affected by people calling him a “assholes” but that the term “collaborator” knocked him out of his hinges: “Words have a meaning. When we equate today’s treatment of anti-vax with the treatment of Jews during the war…” Facing him, Myriam Palomba hastened to add: “But it’s the truth! And I’m Jewish”. Very borderline remarks, which were immediately taken up by the whole set, starting with Benjamin Castaldi. And the columnist’s remarks made her mad with rage. So much so that Myriam Palomba started to get up to leave Touche pas à mon poste before continuing to attack Thierry Moreau, standing.

Thierry Moreau: “What bothers me is the parallel with the ghettos, the dictatorship”

“He’s the one making calls to hate. And you’re defending him. Do you know what we’re going through?, Myriam Palomba was annoyed, in tears. And you are defending it. Do you know what we are going through? Do you know what we have been going through for months and months? It has to stop.” After this violent rant, the journalist finally took her place around the Touche table not at my post where Benjamin Castaldi answered her. “Me, the analogies with the Nazis, the dictatorships, the Jews… I can’t hear that anymore! It shocks me”, he launched before Thierry Moreau added: “What bothers me is the parallel with the ghettos, the dictatorship…”
