ANALYSIS – Faced with Russia and China, the transatlantic partners are strengthening their cooperation.
The European Union and the United States are committed to “cooperate to mitigate the negative effects of Russia’s attack on Ukraine for the world economy and the economy of Ukraine in particular”. The two Western giants intend more specifically to try to remedy the disruptions in the food and industrial supply chains, consequences of the conflict. They also promise to invest in rebuilding Ukraine’s economy, its business fabric and its trade relations.
