Trailer So we dance: Michèle Laroque unveils her new romantic and dancing comedy

Michèle Laroque, Isabelle Nanty, Thierry Lhermitte, Patrick Timsit… All are reunited in the trailer for So we dance, a new romantic comedy directed by Michèle Laroque, which will be released in theaters on March 16.

After Brillantissime (2018) and Everyone at home (2021), Michèle Laroque unveils her new production, So we dance.

Freely adapted from the British feature film Finding Your Feet by Richard Loncraine, the romantic and dancing comedy by Michèle Laroque brings together a nice cast: Isabelle Nanty, Thierry Lhermitte, Patrick Timsit, but also Alysson Paradis, Jeanne Cherhal or Jean-Hugues Anglade.

Combining humor and tenderness, the film follows Sandra who, determined to take control of her life after discovering her husband’s infidelities, takes refuge with her sister Danie. Opposite to each other, they find themselves around their common passion: dance.

With the nickel-plated feet of the choreography Lucien and Roberto, friends of her sister, Sandra finally finds the freedom and the touch of madness that her life was missing. A new life begins: because we all have the right to a second dance!

The screenplay is co-written by Michèle Laroque and Stéphane Ben Lahcene.

Expected in the cinema on March 16, 2022, the film was presented in preview at the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Festival, where we were able to discover it. Special mention to Sofiane Chalal, dancer and choreographer who appears in the film and made the whole palace dance at the opening of the Festival, where another dance comedy was also presented, Rumba la vie de Franck Dubosc (whose release has been postponed to this summer).
