(Boursier.com) — The European Commission has added 21 Russian airlines to its list of carriers banned from operating in the Old Continent due to failing to meet international safety standards.

The Commission clarified that after the addition of 21 Russian airlines, including Aeroflot and Rossiya Airlines, the EU blacklist now contains 117 carriers.
