A “frontal” man claimed two injured people today on the B 116 near St. Michael: A car had come into the oncoming lane and crashed into the oncoming car.

Shortly before 7.30 p.m. today, a 55-year-old driver from the Leoben district was driving his car on the B 116. Why he came to the other side in the local area of ​​St. Michael is still the subject of the investigation. On the left side of the lane, he crashed head-on into the car of an oncoming 58-year-old from the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district. The 55-year-old was trapped in the car and had to be used by the St. Michael volunteer fire brigade, which was deployed with four vehicles and 14 people to be freed with rescue scissors. Both drivers were injured to an indefinite degree and taken to the LKH Bruck / Mur. The 58-year-old had a negative alcohol test, the result of the driver involved in the accident is still pending. The B 116 was completely closed until 8.45 p.m.
