Trench coats as far as the eye can see
These are the spring favorites in 2023

The all-time favorite of all between-seasons jackets is back in fashion: the trench coat. This spring it is not only available in beige.
It is and will remain a classic, but will be a particularly popular it-piece again in spring 2023: the trench coat. This year, transitional coats are often available in other colors, with a mix of materials or even in leather, even with luxury labels such as Dior, Burberry or Herno. What all models have in common, however, is that they are undoubtedly suitable for everyday use.
Classics à la Sylvie Meis
Wherever you look, the trench coat can be found everywhere on the streets and in fashion boutiques – mostly in various shades of beige and brown. Sylvie Meis (44) shows how well the trendy coat looks in spring on her Instagram account. With her beige coat, she wears white cargo trousers, a tweed crop top, also beige ankle boots with high heels and a small, light-colored handbag – a thoroughly harmonious ensemble.
But the pieces can also currently be found in blue, pink, lilac or violet. Multicolored, patterned or embroidered trench coats are particularly extravagant.
Set accents with leather
Courageous fashion lovers are now also increasingly opting for coats made of leather and vinyl. Fashion blogger Leonie Hanne (34) featured on Instagram a stylish look consisting of wide Marlene trousers, a white shirt and a black oversized leather trench coat. The advantage: the thick fabrics warm you up a bit better on cold days than the classic model.
