Looking for a simple drink that doesn’t look like it? Then how about this pink, glittery version of the iconic French 75? We’ll explain to you how it works.

Sparkling, refreshing and with a slightly pink color nuance. The pink French 75 attracts attention with its unusual color – and since the eye not only eats, but also drinks, it quickly becomes a new favorite. What’s more, the drink is super easy and quick to make, as long as you have the necessary ingredients at home. We’ll tell you what you need.

Pink French 75 – this is how it works:

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml pink gin
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • 90 to 120 ml Prosecco
  • Pink edible glitter (optional)

Preparation:

Tip: The Pink French 75 looks particularly good in a narrow champagne glass with a long neck.

  1. First pour in the pink gin and add the lemon juice.
  2. Optionally, add a pinch of edible glitter and then pour the syrup into the glass.
  3. Now add the Prosecco and you can enjoy your drink or serve it to your visitors.

If the ingredients are not mixed well, you can carefully stir the drink with a cocktail spoon before serving it to your guests.

Which syrup goes well with French 75?

You can easily use cane sugar syrup for your drink. In the original, the French 75 is often mixed without syrup and instead with the common household cane sugar variant. Instead of Prosecco, the original usually contains champagne. But also a crémant or a delicious one Sparkling wine of your choice can be the right choice here. Choose the variant that suits you best.
