Trevor Noah: Comedian confirmed as presenter for the Grammys

The South African comedian Trevor Noah will host the 63rd Grammy Awards at the end of January 2021.

The South African comedian Trevor Noah (36) will host the most important award ceremony in the music industry: The Grammy Awards 2021. The Recording Academy announced this on its homepage. The award ceremony will take place on January 31, 2021.

This is the first Grammys moderation job for The Daily Show host. Last year he himself was nominated for an award in the category of best comedy album for the recording of his "Son of Patricia" show, but had to admit defeat to his colleague Dave Chappelle (47, "Sticks and Stones").

"I'm excited"

"While I am extremely disappointed that the Grammys refused to let me sing or nominate me for the best pop album, I am thrilled to host this promising event," Noah is quoted in the press release. He is the best man for comforting those artists who are not allowed to take an award home with them: "I know the pain when you don't win an award."
