2024 - Triangle launches Lunar 1, its new vinyl turntable for 33 and 45 rpm

Vinyl has made a comeback in recent years, particularly in France, and artists no longer hesitate to release their albums in this format. To play 33 and 45 rpm records, whether old or recent, Triangle is launching its Lunar 1 turntable assembled in Europe in partnership with Pro-Ject.

This manual vinyl turntable is described by Triangle as the perfect combination of audio quality and ease of use. The brand promises quality materials to restore the rich sound of 33 and 45 rpm records. The high-density chipboard base absorbs vibrations so that the sound emitted remains pure. As for the platter, it is made of ABS polymer reinforced with ribs to eliminate resonances, according to Triangle.

The aluminum tonearm, which measures 8.6 inches, is lightweight and low-friction. This element has been optimized for the OM-5E cell equipped with an elliptical profile diamond, also pre-assembled from the factory.

The conductivity of the sound signal is guaranteed by the phono cable (included) with HP-OFC copper conductors and gold-plated RCA plugs. The reading speed is managed via a switch on the edge of the device.

Since vinyl turntables are very sensitive to dust, the Lunar 1 has an acrylic cover with adjustable hinges which ensures its protection.
