A 17-year-old moped driver acted with quick-wittedness on Thursday afternoon in Radstadt. That probably saved him some serious injuries.
The teenager was on his moped when a 45-year-old truck driver reversed his truck in reverse gear. He overlooked the 17-year-old and his moped. In order not to be run over by the truck, the young man dropped sideways onto the street. The moped was badly damaged by the truck. The 17-year-old suffered injuries to his foot from the fall. He was taken to the hospital. An alcohol test carried out on both drivers was negative.
