Is true love dead? The pessimists among us have long considered this to be an irrefutable truth: For them, real love, devotion and romance are at best a short phase of being freshly in love, or at worst a pure Hollywood invention. A real fairytale happy ending for two lovers into old age is simply unrealistic – or maybe not?
Brian – an unsung hero
In any case, on Twitter, users are now completely blown away by husband Brian and his wife Jean. An employee of the shop Brian and Jean visit regularly took a picture of them and wrote:
"That's why I love my job so much! This is Jean Brian, two of our regular customers. Brian was here for another makeup class because he's been making up his wife's face every day since she started losing her eyesight. Such a wonderful couple that they can enjoy life to the full! "
Attention that makes a difference
We have to join the choir of enthusiasm and simply say: Bravo, Brian! This is exactly how love and relationship should work! Because that Brian shows this commitment is unfortunately not a matter of course but shows how attentively he looked at the needs of his wife, and how exactly he thought about how he could maybe make her life a little bit better. Because we are certain: Many other men would have thought that a blind person should perhaps not care what he or she looks like now. To recognize how important good make-up is for his Jean, to empathize with how helpless she must feel with her creeping blindness – and then to immediately draw the right conclusion as to how he can help her on this point? This is a real masterpiece that proves for us: There is real love after all!
