A 55-year-old couple in their car was thrown 15 meters into a parking lot next door when a truck crashed unchecked! The car in front was about to turn into the driveway in Tieschen (district of Southeast Styria).
They were almost home when the dramatic accident happened on Monday afternoon: The driver of the car was about to turn into the driveway on the L 235 in Tieschen. A 31-year-old subsequent truck driver from Straden may have overlooked the fact that the car in front of him blinked and braked. He crashed into the rear of the vehicle without braking! The powerful impact threw the car and the couple (both 55 years old) a full 15 meters into a parking lot. They were brought to the Lkh Feldbach with unspecified injuries. The 31-year-old was unharmed.
