An imprisoned murderer gives Commissioner Winter a headache in "Under other circumstances" (ZDF). In "Salt" (kabel eins), Angelina Jolie gets into trouble as a CIA spy. Later "Jack Reacher" (ZDF) has to solve the riddle about a sniper.

A young woman is found strangled in her apartment. The criminal investigation department in Flensburg is investigating. Jana Winter (Natalia Wörner) and her team catch one detail in particular. The murder weapon was obviously a red rope that is used in sailing. This shows parallels to an old case: The perpetrator, Jan Littkovski (Karsten Antonio Mielke), a former boat builder, is still behind bars, but he was released at the time of the crime. In addition: Doreen Hahn (Bettina Stucky), his fiancée, lives in the immediate vicinity of the murder victim.
