The private detective “Hartwig Seeler” (Das Erste) helps a young policewoman to go into hiding. “Because they don’t know what’s going to happen” (RTL), it is meanwhile again for Barbara Schöneberger, Thomas Gottschalk and Günther Jauch.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Hartwig Seeler – A New Life, Crime

Private detective Hartwig Seeler (Matthias Koeberlin) receives an unusual assignment from his former colleague Tascha (Emily Cox). The police officer fears the release of the felon Gerald Metzner (Maximilian Brauer), with whom she shares a traumatic memory: As a hostage, she spent 36 excruciating hours under his control. To be safe from Metzner, Tascha wants to go into hiding with Seeler’s help. She wants to start a new life on the Maltese island of Gozo – preferably with Seeler, for whom she has always felt more than a quiet friendship.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, 12 Years a Slave, Drama

The violinist Solomon Northup (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is Afro-American, but lives free and well-off in New York in 1841. When he gets into the wrong client, he is drugged, his papers removed and sold as a slave in New Orleans. Northup goes through hell under the bestial slave driver Edwin Epps (Michael Fassbender). Although he never gives up his will to survive, the way back to freedom is very long.

The fun finally continues! Three unsuspecting moderators without a plan who face new rounds of games and quizzes with an uncertain outcome: Barbara Schöneberger, Thomas Gottschalk and Günther Jauch are dancing on the volcano again in three new Saturday evening primetime shows and giving everything. Live, without a safety net, without rehearsals, with brains, a good portion of joy in playing and with full physical effort.

It’s all or nothing: a candidate faces five bright minds in exciting duels to become “The Quiz Champion”. Only if Jan Hofer (“Current Affairs”), Katrin Müller-Hohenstein (“Sport”), Michael “Bully” Herbig (“Film & Television”), Wigald Boning (“Geography”) and Anna Thalbach (“Literature & Language”) defeated in their specialties can win 100,000 euros.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Bob, the stray, drama

London street musician James Bowen (Luke Treadaway) can barely live on his meager income. One day a stray cat gets lost in his council house. Although James is barely able to make ends meet, he decides to take in the cat, who was given the name Bob by his neighbor Betty (Ruta Gedmintas), and to nurse him back to health. When he regains his strength, Bob doesn’t even think about leaving James. The cat even follows her new boyfriend to his performances on the streets of London, drawing people’s attention to the mismatched couple.
