A new case for the "undertaker"

The "Undertaker" (Das Erste) is dealing with an unknown dead person. Tom Cruise is on the trail of the "Syndicate" in "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation" (Sat.1). In "Overdrive" (VOX), Scott Eastwood makes a devilish deal.

Business is not going particularly well at Taubenbaum burials in Hepperlingen. That is why Lisa Taubenbaum (Anna Fischer) is working more often as a physiotherapist and her brother Hannes (Frederik Bott) is more likely to carpentry shop counters than coffins. The corpse of a young woman at a bus stop brings work, but since nobody knows who it is, an unprofitable burial at state expense is to be expected. That's why Lisa's father Alfons (Artus Maria Matthiessen) has absolutely nothing against Lisa trying to clarify the identity of the stranger.

When he was able to free himself from the underground torture prison, he went into hiding. Meanwhile, however, the IMF is subordinated to the CIA. MI6 also has its fingers on the mission – and everyone is hunting the boss of the mysterious organization "Syndicate".

The brothers Andrew (Scott Eastwood) and Garrett Forster (Freddie Thorp) finance their lives by stealing expensive luxury cars for wealthy clients. Their latest coup takes them to Marseille, where they are supposed to steal a 1937 Bugatti for mafia boss Jacomo Morier (Simon Abkarian). When the two are caught in the process, the gang boss forces the brothers to a diabolical deal: Andrew and Garrett are supposed to steal the 1962 Ferrari from Morier's arch enemy Max Klemp (Clemens Schick).
