The Giesinger football club has lost again. Inspector Neuhauser (Marcus Mittermeier) and colleague Flierl (Bernadette Heerwagen) douse the game in a pub and promptly come across a dead person. They inform Schaller (Alexander Held). In the old working-class district the fans of the "blue" romp. But the commissioners are faced with a wall of silence when they are questioned. Nobody betrays the other here. At least two people, however, have a motive: the wife Leana (Dorka Gryllus) and buddy "Breitner" (Jürgen Tonkel).

Young Clary's mother (Lily Collins) disappears. When the girl goes looking for her, she finds out that she is a shadow hunter. These beings, half of whom are angels and have supernatural powers, have the task of freeing the world from evil forces. Together with others of her kind, Clary discovers the City of Bones, a parallel world full of demons, wizards, werewolves and vampires.
