Erika Schinegger (Markus Freistätter) has always been something special. At the time of her birth, the midwife looks a moment longer than usual before announcing a "girl". A client of Alex (Ina Paule Klink) is found dead after an appointment. Alex then disappeared without a trace. At Overbeck, she is now the main suspect in a murder case. However, Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) and Ekki (Oliver Korittke) believe that Alex has been kidnapped. The only trace they have is an Indian figure. Alex had received this as a present from her client and passed it on to Wilsberg – and he sold it to a second-hand dealer. As soon as the two friends start looking, a second corpse falls at Ekki's feet – out of the window of an apartment building.
