In a car, the police found the body of a building authority officer who had an ice ax rammed into his heart. A piece of paper that reads "Corrupt Pig!" leads Commissioner Branka Maric (Neda Rahmanian) directly to the alleged motive. The dead man enriched himself with subsequent permits for illegal buildings in Split. A specialist from the capital city of Zagreb comes to support the homicide squad: Stojan Manojlovic (Juergen Maurer), who has known the files in the case very well for years.

On a trip with his old friend Carola (Michaela Schausberger) and their nine-year-old daughter Mia (Mia-Sophie Ballauf), Markus (Sebastian Ströbel) discovers the body of the mountain guide Robert.
