There is no trace of a contemplative Christmas season: Katja Baumann (Simone Thomalla) witnesses a serious skiing accident in which a girl is life-threateningly injured. The complicated operation that is supposed to save the life of little Emily (Melina Lemer) can only be carried out by Professor Gabriel. But it is as if swallowed by the earth. Together with her daughter Kiki (Carolyn Genzkow), Katja goes in search of him. A race against time begins.

19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is supposed to marry a cocky lord against her will. A mysterious white rabbit shows up at their engagement party. They live in great fear since the evil Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) usurped the reign. To help the good White Queen (Anne Hathaway) back to the throne, Alice must defeat the dragon Jabberwocky.
