Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) does not have an easy life as Spider-Man: On the one hand, he feels obliged to protect the people of New York, on the other hand, he strives for the relationship with his great love Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). The situation comes to a head when Oscorp employee Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) mutates into the literally electrified villain Electro due to an accident at work and destroys Times Square.
