In "The Masked Singer" (ProSieben) celebrities are again performing in flashy costumes. "Veterinarian Dr. Mertens" (Das Erste) has problems with her children. Star chef Nelson Müller does the big pork test on ZDF.

"The Masked Singer" shows ten stars from all walks of life in oversized, elaborate costumes that make them completely unrecognizable. One can only speculate about the identity of the prominent undercover singers. The viewers vote for their favorites. For the masked celebrity with the fewest votes, the secret will be revealed at the end of the show: Which star is hidden under the mask?
8:30 p.m., Das Erste, veterinarian Dr. Mertens: Anger in the stomach, family series
Susanne's (Elisabeth Lanz) son Jonas (Lennart Betzgen) is devastated: Allegedly, he shouldn't be the father of the twins, but Marie's ex! Susanne wants to help, but Jonas blocks. Susanne's conflict with Luisa (Lilly Wiedemann) intensifies when she discovers her daughter on a demonstration against the roller coaster in front of the zoo. The matter escalates when Jonas, one of the police officers on site, tries to take the spray can from a young animal rights activist and she is slightly injured.

Schnitzel, sausage and bacon. Nelson Müller reveals how much pork Germans eat. Is that good for us, the environment and the animals? The star chef fights for good nutrition. Germany is the country of pork: pork is always available in pedestrian zones and refrigerated shelves. For this purpose, pigs are bred en masse. A system that has reached its limits. Nelson Müller got himself a pig for this documentary. He asks his guests: How much of it does each of us eat in a year?

In the 18 years of "DSDS" history, there have been performances that will always be remembered – from weird casting to spectacular shows. The "DSDS" special shows once again the biggest "DSDS" appearances of recent years and the story behind them. Among them: Ramon Roselly and Florian Silbereisen's underpants, the way of street singer Nick Ferretti, the shrill appearances of Lydia Kelowitz and the tears of pop titans.

Instead of trundling through old people's homes with musical interludes, petty crook Roy Singer (Martin Brambach) is planning to revive his old combo "Roy's Four". At a major comeback show, employment on a cruise liner would beckon. But first the old troop has to come together. The band's front man and singer was Roy's son Bruno (Ben Münchow), who still lives with his mother and is also a police officer with ambitions. He doesn't need the presence of his father, who is getting more and more involved in his criminal machinations.
