Twitch: the Eleven All Stars, a match between French and Spanish streamers, breaks records

A football match between French and Spanish streamers and Youtubers broke the audience record on the Twitch France platform this Saturday evening. Organized by the French streamer “Amine killed me”, the event peaked at more than 1.1 million spectators, breaking the record previously held by Squeezie and his GP Explorer.

More than 1.1 million people connected at the same time on Twitch on Saturday evening to watch the same event organized by a Frenchman: “Eleven All Stars”, a football match between French streamers and Spanish streamers. With a victory for France from 2 to 0.

20,000 spectators at the Jean-Bouin stadium

The organizer, the streamer “Amine killed me” managed to beat the record held by Squeezie, a little over a month ago, with his Grand Prix Explorer, which had gathered just over a million spectators on the platform. For this event, around twenty Youtubers and streamers gathered at Le Mans for a Formula 4 race.

For this match, broadcast live on the Twitch platform, “Amine killed me” had put in great resources and the Jean Bouin stadium, in Paris, was almost full with 20,000 spectators. A concert with several rappers was even organized before the start of the meeting. On Twitch, spectators could follow the match thanks to 24 cameras and professional referees were even hired for the occasion.
