While the Popcorn show has become a real phenomenon for the Twitch FR scene, with a colorful Popcorn Festival last summer, Domingo, alias PA (Pierre-Alexis), has indeed made some confessions with our colleagues at puremedias.com. Domingo admits to having refused certain guests
Popcorn began its 4th season last September with none other than Domingo, who needs no introduction, at its helm. If the show receives several guests that we could qualify as “usual” such as FR star streamers such as Antoine Daniel, Inoxtag or even Baghera or MisterMV, it has also welcomed more “important” guests such as Thomas Pesquet or the immensely talented Alexandre Astier in a promotional setting.
And if Domingo’s ultimate dream is to receive Zinedine Zidane, the star presenter nevertheless confessed to turning down several big names. The reason for this? He and his team didn’t want to promote something that “we don’t feel like it at all. You have to know how to put the cursor in the right place“. Unfortunately, Domingo does not give any of these big names, but at the same time we can understand that he does not want to alienate certain personalities.
What we can expect in the future for Popcorn
Besides the next Popcorn Festival which should also take place this summer, in the future, it would not be really surprising to see other great gentlemen like Astier come on the set of Popcorn, with for example Alain Chabatwho has already participated in ZEvent 2022, or even other personalities like Eric and Ramzy, Jamel, or regulars on the small screen who have been working there for years.
Moreover, if Domingo confessed that a show with an audience could seduce him, he however declared that he would be afraid that it would destroy the intimate spirit of the show, and he would not want the spectators to react and applaud. like robots at every opportunity. On the other hand, small events like the show on September 27 at the theater would be more likely to appear on an ad hoc basis.
