American strikes

Israel, a neighbor of Syria, rarely comments on the strikes on a case-by-case basis, but has admitted to having carried out hundreds since 2011. The Israeli army has presented them as being necessary to prevent Iran from establishing itself on its doorstep.

Meanwhile, the US military announced on Thursday that it had killed four members of armed groups linked to Iran in 24 hours in eastern Syria, in response to rocket fire that injured several soldiers. Americans in the area.
