Two new Lazard Frères Gestion funds obtain the SRI label

(Boursier.com) — Lazard Frères Gestion continues to label its range of funds… The SRI Label has been awarded to two new funds classified as “Article 9” according to the SFDR nomenclature:

– Lazard Global Green Bonds Opportunities is a bond fund launched on September 30, 2022 and actively managed, totaling €57 million in assets under management as of June 30, 2023. It is more than 90% invested in green bonds. The fund can invest in many market segments: green sovereign debt, “corporate” Investment Grade or High Yield securities, “Cocos” Green or sustainable debt, the latter are nevertheless limited to 10% of the net assets of the portfolio. The fund is also flexible in managing its interest rate sensitivity, which can vary from -3 to +12.

– Lazard Human Capital is an international equity fund created on August 31, 2022 and actively managed, totaling €30 million in assets under management as of June 30, 2023. It is invested mainly in the “Large Caps” segment. Its objective is to obtain, over the recommended investment period of five years, a performance net of fees superior to that of the MSCI World benchmark indicator of developed markets by investing in companies that provide solutions to the challenges of sustainable development. . The companies in the portfolio are thus pre-selected according to their ability to retain their employees, train them, offer them good social security and a framework conducive to their development.

At the same time, Lazard Human Capital obtained the “Towards Sustainability” label supported by Febelfin, the Belgian financial sector federation. The latter certifies that the fund is managed according to a sustainable approach with an emphasis on transparency, ESG analysis and exclusions on both coal and unconventional fossil fuels.

The labeling of these two funds demonstrates Lazard Frères Gestion’s ever-increasing commitment to responsible investment and the creation of long-term value. The company now manages 16 UCIs benefiting from the SRI label, including 8 equity funds, 6 bond funds and 2 diversified funds, representing cumulative assets of 7.7 billion euros at the end of June 2023.
