Horizon Forbidden West having been released, GT7 resumes its communication with two new videos. And this time, it’s to compare the rendering of the in-game game and the reality with a pilot.
Vroom, vroom, the release of GT7 is dangerously approaching. Scheduled for March 4, 2022 on PS4 and PS5the car simulation from Polyphony Digital, which has claimed fidelity since its inception, wants to prove it with news videos “from virtual to reality”.
Two experts behind the wheel

In the battle before us we have the professional pilot Dai Yoshihara and his Tesla Model 3 Performance by Evasive Motorsports. The latter entrusts us with the things to avoid on the circuit of Willow Springs International Raceway. A route characterized by its width which allows high speeds to be reached.
This is for the real part, while the virtual one is provided by the YouTuber Steve Brown aka Super-GT. The young man also has a Tesla, but a model S signature performance. He thus shares his experience on this circuit which can be “unforgivable” and old school, in the sense that it is well known to fans of the franchise.
Gran Turismo 7: the real driving simulator?
The second video highlights the visual fidelity of which Gran Turismo 7 is capable, with a side-by-side comparison. Top the game, bottom the experienced driver on the Willow Springs circuit. If differences exist, obviously, the reproduction of the track and the environment are extremely faithful.
GT7 left to fulfill its contract on the visual level, but these videos do not allow to transcribe the sensations. Will it stand out enough from Gran Turismo Sport? Will the DualSense respect its commitments? Questions that will find their answers after making room on your PS5 to accommodate it.
