Ubisoft: A big show would be planned around E3, with new Prince of Persia and Immortal Fenyx Rising?

The holding of E3 is still undecided for the moment, but we know that the Summer of Gaming will take place, with lots of announcements to be expected throughout the summer. And if Electronic Arts skips a conference this year, it mightUbisoft do not follow the same path. At least that’s what it says Tom Hendersonnow reputable insider, who states in a new article published on Xfire that the French publisher was preparing a big speechwith no less than twenty titles in development.

A 2D Prince of Persia in the pipeline?

If Henderson does not dare to say that the whole line-up will be presented soon, he affirms that many games could be talked about in the coming weeks. According to him, Ubisoft was thinking of organizing a show before E3so as not to be drowned in the middle of all the other summer announcements, but it is possible that recent events in the world have changed that (recall that Ubisoft has offices in Kyiv).

Henderson then listed all the potential announcements, and if we obviously find titles like Skull & Bones or even the remake of Splinter Cell (it seems to be still a bit early), we notice some unpublished information, to be taken with a lot of tweezers.

He first states thata new opus ofImmortal Fenyx Rising would be in developmentand more precisely in preproduction, which means that the release date would still be far away.

Henderson also returns to the rumor ofAssassin’s Creed Riftwhich should, according to its sources, move towards a release in early 2023. He also mentions The Crew 3which has been the subject of many rumors for years, and which is currently known under the code name Project Orlando.

But the most astonishing thing is his declaration concerning a new Prince of Persia. No, we’re not talking about the remake, which should logically show up this year, but manya brand new opus that would take a 2.5 direction, and which would be inspired by Ori. He specifies that Ubisoft Montpellier would be linked to the project.

Once again, don’t take all this for granted, and we’ll patiently wait until an official announcement from Ubisoft.
