It’s been a long time since there has been such a beefy Ubisoft Forward, the publisher had its announcements bag full, with a very long segment dedicated to the Assassin’s Creed series celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. We give you the complete summary of this event with all the announcements of the evening, as well asa summary dedicated to the future of the saga of the assassins that you can find a little further down
Assassin’s Creed: The 15th Anniversary Live
We summarize the bulk of the future of the series in the medium term in our summary of the 3 biggest live announcements, which you can find just below. The star, or at least the most exposed game, was obviously Assassin’s Creed Mirage, newly officially revealed following several leaks on the internet. The bulk of the information revealed was just aimed: direction Baghdad with Basim, one of the protagonists of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, for an epic which amounts to an experience which will bet more on discretion. To achieve this goal, several action-rpg elements have been removed, but others will be retained, such as the vision of the eagle thanks to a playable bird and that kind of fun.
Mario and the Rabbids: Sparks of Hope
Very good cross-over of the Nintendo Switch, Ubisoft’s Deficient Rabbits will soon return to fool around with the mustachioed plumber and his gang, for more tactical arena combat, with even more wacky scenarios in their pocket. i. The new gameplay video featuring one of the bosses of the game augurs well for this very distant cousin of X-Com. In any case it’s still as colorful and original, we can’t wait to see if this sequel will manage to distinguish itself enough from an already complete first opus: in any case it looks good! Releasing exclusively on Nintendo Switch on October 20, with new downloadable content, including one that will include Rayman on the adventure.
Skull & Bones
it’s come a long way but this time Ubisoft Montpellier’s pirate game is ready to set sail for a November 8 release on consoles and PC. The game didn’t show much new during this Ubisoft Forward, given that it had already had a fairly comprehensive presentation a few weeks ago. We’re always curious to see what it’s going to be like, but with Sea of Thieves already well established with over 4 years of content already in the barrel, one wonders if its much more demanding fights (different types of ammunition, numerous equipment) will be enough for S&B to pull out of the game.
Trackmania
The latest live announcement: a new Trackmania game will be available by the beginning of 2023 in free-to-play on consoles. Cross-progression and cross-server will be available on all platforms and we are promised that the community will be featured regularly, with new competitions every 3 months. Trackmania Cbubs is actually the console version of what has been available in small packages for a few years on PC and unite the whole community under one banner.
