Ubisoft + subscription arrives on Xbox consoles

The Ubisoft + subscription offer is about to appear on Xbox. Owners of a Microsoft console will thus be able to access the entire catalog of Ubisoft new products for a fixed monthly price.

A little more than two years after its launch, the Ubisoft + subscription plan will appear for the very first time on game consoles. Microsoft’s Xboxes (Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S) will have this premiere, thus becoming the fourth platform to host the program after the PC, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna in the United States – the only country where the cloud gaming from Amazon is available to date.

Inducted on PC in September 2019, the Ubisoft + subscription gives access for a fixed monthly price to a catalog of a hundred games from the French publisher, which includes all of its latest releases, as well as their DLC and some additional bonuses ( cosmetic elements, currency ingame…).

No details are given for the moment as to the terms of access, the price or even the date of availability of the offer on Xbox. For your information, it is currently available in France at a price of € 14.99 / month (PC only) or € 17.99 / month (PC and Stadia).

Rainbow Six Extraction coming to Xbox Game Pass

And because good news never comes alone, the new partnership between Ubisoft and Microsoft doesn’t end there. The publisher also announces that Rainbow Six Extraction, the new multiplayer-only iteration of the hugely popular series of tactical shooters, will be available from its launch on January 20, 2022 as part of the Xbox Game Pass offer, both on consoles and on PC.

Please note that this announcement is distinct from the first. It should not be concluded from this that the Ubisoft + service as a whole could be included in an Xbox Game Pass package, as is the case today with Electronic Arts’ EA Play service. The two offers will require two separate subscriptions.
